Database and Journal Updates

  • We'll be adding two new social science databases this spring: Public Administration Abstracts, and Family and Society Studies Worldwide.
  • Criminal Justice Abstracts is changing from the CSA platform to the EBSCO platform
  • The CSA platform will be making a very considerable interface change early this year
  • Health and Psychosocial Instruments will now also be on the EBSCO platform
  • New online access journals: Communication Reports, Congress and the Presidency, Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, Mobilization, Urban History Review, Western Journal of Communication. Word and Image, Journal of Forensic Science.

New American Community Survey Reports

"The U.S Census Bureau is pleased to announce the release of twelve more reports from the American Community Survey (ACS) Brief series for 2009. These short reports cover a wide range of topics including public transportation usage, population with Haitian ancestry in the United States, rental housing market conditions, and science and engineering degrees. An initial set of seven reports was released on Sept. 28, 2010."
