A Census of How the Census Keeps Coming Up this Week...

I've been thinking about the census a lot this week. First, I taught a library session for a Sociology class that focused on the Uniform Crime Report and on demographic data, specifically American FactFinder. Second, I was asked to become WSU's representative to the Washington State Data Center (the subject of a later post, but I'll just say now that the network of 50 SDCs is an amazing resource). Third, today is the day that Census 2010 released the Washington State census profile (along with that of 12 other states). So, take  a census of your knowledge of the Census and join me in celebrating this valuable source of really really important data!
